Uh oh…I’m a day late and dollar short, but I just read this…
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – A DNA analysis completed by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement on Tuesday confirmed that DNA provided by Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston matched the sample taken from the underwear of the woman who has accused him of sexual battery.
That surely links Winston to the accuser, but all it means is they had sex. What I want to know is was there any trauma. it said they performed a rape kit on her, but have not said if there were signs of rape. In the many other cases similar to this, the accused wither went to prison or got acquitted based on the rape kit and whether there was trauma to the woman!
Couple of things from my point of view.
If there was a rape kit done in the few day following, lends me to believe the girl more. doesnt mean I believe her, just that many of them wait a long time or dont get one at all.
This happened in Dec. of 2012. He was freshman and was not the starting QB. basically a no one to the rest of the world.
Why would the AG do a DNA test if the rape kit did not show trauma.
No matter the outcome, this looks very messy.
Right now, the biggest thing that I see he is guilty of is letting the TBPD and the University do his dirty work for him. He is responsible for himself, and that includes if he is innocent getting in front of the issue and making sure his name is clear back in Feb. If I was accused and didn’t do it, I wouldn’t wait for some local PD to tell me it was taken care of, I would make a statement declaring my innocence and make sure the evidence was made public to prove my innocent.
This hiding, and back alley deals points to guilty. However, he is innocent until proven guilty. Her testimony under oath is about all he can stand on now.

Word on the skreet back in Tally is that Winston had been hanging out/hooking up with her for a while. Pictures are coming out of them together, she definitely does not look like she dislikes it. I think Jameis blew her off and told her about his actual girlfriend, she flipped out. How else would she not know who her “attacker” was, but then suddenly remember a month later. He might get charged, but in the end he walks from this. Unfortunately, the damage is done then.

Not picking a side. But hanging out/hooking up for a while does not negate force.
She could have known her attacker from class. campus. a friend. bar. restaurant. AA meeting. Hooking up is not the only way to know someone.
If he didn’t do it, I hope she comes clean soon. If he did then he will get what is coming to him
If he did this, he should go to jail. I really think she just got pissed at him, and cried rape. I just don’t see how, if she was raped, this was not pursued. She even cut contact with the investigators. Still smells fishy…

I’m not sure if I put much weight in the investigators at this point. She reported a rape, had a rape test done, name him. and they did not get the DNA? because she cut contact? That is not how it works. If a crime was committed they should investigate.
Something is fishy for sure. And it is coming from the PD.
I hope he did not do it because I like watching him play.
It’s not up to her at this point. She made the claim and report, this is now all the state’s case to prove, her feelings have nothing to do with it at this point. Sounds like there is a DA, AG or other in the State Attorney’s office that has an axe to grind. It is very fishy that FSU is on the cusp of playing for a national championship, has UF left on the schedule and nothing has been brought up on this until now.
Sounds like she got drunk, decided to get it on with Winston and suffered a whore’s remorse in the end and cried foul. Then again, it wouldn’t be the first time a football player had raped a girl and used his stature and fame to try and cover it up.

Another possible scenario… They were hooking up/ hanging out, she blew him off and he decided to take what he wanted… Not saying it happened that way, but it is possible. I agree with others. If he is guilty, I hope he pays dearly. If he is innocent, I wish him the best and hope he gets through this with as little damage as possible…

Why would they? He is not officially even a “Suspect”. Keep your mouth shut until the truth comes out, and let your attorney speak. (Not you, Fishb8, WInston). If you are innocent, don’t give the accuser anything to twist around.

Why would you admit to even hooking up with her until you had to? He also was probably wanting to stay out of the public eye.

They no he is going to be charged, they are trying to keep it from having any influence on the votes.
