Sounds like a buy out may be in the works.
Yep,LSU is gonna hire Jimbo Fisher
LSU is stupid for getting rid of Miles. They aren’t as elite as they’d like to be and need to realize that coaches like Saban, who they are comparing their shortcomings with, only come along once in a lifetime. LSU fans should prepare themselves to have the next ten years of their program look like Tennessee has looked. They are just now trying to climb out of the hole that they dug themselves in from firing Fulmer Fudd.
“What have you done for me lately?”
Does that put Miles in the conversation for USC?
Boat drinks, Waitress I need 2 more boat drinks!
Sounds like another Tiger team that gives up on their Coach…
Ken Hatfield was 8-3… Clemson hurled him off campus… because he didn’t dominate…
What does it say about an institution that will QUIT on their coaches. Why shouldn’t they wait until the end of the season…
Double standards, gotta love them…

I hope not.
It seems the days when coaches were allowed to make a career with a school are gone. Particularly for the larger institutions. Bear Bryant, Joe Paterno, Shug Jordan, etc stuck around for years and years, through good times and bad. Schools stuck with good coaches.
No more. It is a dog eat dog, king of the hill kind of game. If you ain’t on top of the hill or lose a dogfight or two. See ya!.

Miles could’ve changed his situation if he’d of gone out and hired an OC with a pulse. Instead he’s locked in the old style 3yds and a cloud of dust mentality with a few gimmick plays that work here and there. Hell, even Saban realized he had to change his offensive philosophy.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

You do realize that everyone hated Hatfield. You do realize Hatfield was a terrible coach and couldn’t meet the expectations of the program and job description. He wasn’t fired for his win loss record, he was fired because no one like him, he didn’t fit in and attendance and ticket sales reflected that. Of course that was followed up with Tommy West who was even worse.

Agreed. The question is… how do coaches in the modern era build men and character when it is all about money.
The players see it. Let’s call a spade, a spade. College football doesn’t build character, it reveals it…
Easy to hurl insults to other institutions. In reality, the college football money generating experiment creates exactly what it was designed to do… It creates MONEY, not men…

Exactly!
And not apples to apples but look at Maryland after firing ACC Coach of the year, Ralph Fridgen. They have been dumpster fire since.
How many times do you think Tennessee fans wished they had Fat Phil back? LSU better be careful.

Hatfield coached at Clemson from 1990 to 1993, compiling a 32–13–1 record. In his second season, 1991, he led the Tigers to their last Atlantic Coast Conference title in the pre-championship game era. He also worked to clean up the program’s image; the Tigers had been slapped with probation for NCAA violations under Ford.[2] However, Hatfield was never really accepted by Clemson’s fans. A common saying among Tiger fans during this time was "Howard built it. Ford filled it. Hatfield killed it

Did I miss where someone called out the alias for this RBF guy? He has been way too involved in CF.com all of sudden and takes pleasure in attacking people too much to just be coming on fire recently.

Why in the hell would Jimbo Fisher leave Florida State?? He has it made there. I think if LSU is going to fire Les Miles, they better think long and hard about where that next coach is coming from. I don’t see it being Fisher.

I am not an alias, maybe an ass, but not an alias.
HOW many times do I have to say it.
My previous moniker was Salt Shaker… Should I go back to it to satisfy your request? Most folks know this about me. Ask admin to change me back to SS, I kinda like it better anyway…
