Anybody at LSU with a good read option QB could beat saban. Good offensive and defensive lines should be easy to come by there. A good qb a few skill players and tempo scheme will eat Saban up.
Saban is made to chew up LSU’s power run game. They are made for the bland offenses in the SEC.

The problem isn’t beating Saban, heck, Miles did that. It is beating Saban regularly. That is difficult, no matter what offense you run. If it was as easy as you say, the entire West of the SEC would have nothing but spread offenses.
The SEC is terrible at developing QB for some reason. LSU is one of a few teams that can match up with Bama recruits but their offense has been terrible for years.
Problem is most SEC teams try to be bama which is not the right way to beat bama. Hardly anyone can pull the recruits to beat bama regularly, if they existed Saban would be missing a few NC rings. But most of the SEC practically bends over and ask bama to spank them.

LSU’s offense has been terrible because Miles refuses to change his Bo Schembechler philosophy. He still thinks you can pound it down the middle for four quarters and throw it a few times. Even hiring some decent OC’s, they’ve kept that style play. The only time they seem to deviate from that is when the game is on the line and they need one first down. He’ll throw it three times in row with a QB that hasn’t completed 4 passes the entire game. They do nothing to develop a QB into a player that can read a defense, they just send in the play and they run it regardless of what the defense is showing them.
Ricky was saying earlier that LSU was awesome with Fournette. I countered saying that LSU would lose games if teams stopped the run. That has played out.
