I was checking to see where he stood as far as getting time in backfield. Well Gore is on his last year for his contract. Marcus is expected to carry the load after Gore .
It’s great to hear that the SC football players are doing well .
Not to derail this thread but I wanted to forward something he did for a friend recently. A girl on Fort Dorchester Varsity Soccer named Bri recently tore her ACL. Marcus sent her a tweet with encouragement on her surgery day and sent an autographed jersey to her hospital room. How about that? Amazing
The guy is a class act, no doubt about that. Met him once and he was so respectful and polite. Everything was Sir and Ma’am to me and my wife. You can tell he was brought up right.

I heard one of Bruce Ellington’s family members say that Lattimore is healthy but has some mental blocks while going full contact. Cannot say I blame him. Hope he gets right. He and Bruuuuuuce are straight classy.
I still feel that Spiller and Lattimore changed their respective college programs for the better moreso than any other single players in the last decade or two.
You can see their foundation and faith having the same impacts now beyond school, and it makes us proud.
This sucks… I hate to see such a great person go through a tough time like this. I hope he can find happiness and success away from the football field!! Good Luck ML!!!
A bad day fishing is much better than a good day at work.
“One door closes, another door opens” Marcus Lattimore will walk tall through whatever door opens for him. Everyone hangs up the cleats at some point in time. The good guys leave with no regrets. Life is a journey.
I wonder if he knows anything about defense??? Spurrier should bring him on to help Everett Sands coach the RB’s. It’s the right thing to do. He can be an analyst for the SEC network, too. My heart aches for him. One hell of a man.
