My Lady's First BIG red!

Nice fish and pictures. I understand totally not giving away your location as there are a lot ,of people that read this site from several different states and sometimes one of the great things for me when it comes to surf fishing is the solitude. To those that were upset, please understand that we do not have near the open water that places like Lousiana have, I fished down there and was amazed at how few boats that we saw. Some of our beaches especially the outlying beaches are not very big at all and can get crowded quickly. All of our beaches are holding these fish right now so finding the breaks between sandbars and area holding bait will produce fish, I respect anyone’s decision not wanting to talk about a specific area. Once you have been here a little while you will find reports of what was caught and technique, just as valuable as location.

Well said Apickett well said’!!!

I fish up here in MD and we are tight lipped to who we don’t know. We have issues of people stealing not our spots but our fish. Meaning commercial fisherman. If they know the big fish are there they will hoop net them dry.

I am heading down in July this year and hope to post up somewhere on a beach and catch fish and catch some dinner at the same time.

Surf… love the pictures… I always put back the trophy fish but keep eaters.

Keep your lines tight!!
