A few Clemson fans are in touch with reality. There are plenty of those that think Clemson is still a better team then the Cocks and that’s why they are in a bcs bowl and the cocks are not. It’s amazing to see the delusional thoughts that some of them have.

And there are a lot of Carolina fans that confuse a “deserve” mentality with a “system” reality. Do you not think that Carolina, Mizzou or some other 10-2 team ranked higher than Clemson would fill the spot if the bowl conference limitations were not in place? Some of you sound like whining 3yo’s.

Who’s whining, it’s a statement of fact. If the system wasn’t set up the way it is, Clemson would be in the Peach Bowl and rightfully so. After the crap the bed performances against FSU and USC they really don’t belong in the OB. They had their shot at earning the OB or more and didn’t deliver, just like USC did against UGA and more importantly UT. You can look at the UT loss at what kept SC from playing in the SECCG and possibly a NC or Sugar Bowl.
As it stands the bowls select the teams based on tie ins and after that it is a matter of lobbying, filling seats and money. Money drives it all. If Clemson and USC win their bowls they’ll both be ranked in the 5-8 slots to end the season. Not a bad place to be for either school all things considered.
Quit *****ing about it, it is what it is. Next year will be a different story for all teams.

Not sure where you find these Clemson fans Fritz. I don’t know of any Clemson fans that thinks we should be in a BCS bowl over the cocks.
We do think its funny that USC has finished in the top 10 three times but never went to a BCS, especially after all the SEC chest beating, but that does not mean we think we deserve it more.
oh and to the video. Yes, it was a hollow and boring season. Beating a healthy UGA was great. The rest of the games were either boring to watch or we lost.
The only thing I learned from that video is that Lou has lost it and that David Pollack is the most knowledgeable of all the talking heads on ESPN.

The only reason is the tie-in and the rules. The chest beating warranted…meaning the 2 team rule kept USC out…
I think it’s funny South Carolina has beaten Clemson 5 times in a row now. I’ll take that and you can keep the finishing in the top 10 and no BCS bowls. It’s why all the other conferences look up to the SEC.
