Petrino to Louisville

Per ESPN. Louisville just got a upgrade for a HC. Petrino did very, very well at Arkansas and is a brilliant offensive mind. UL has a ton of money and resources.

Already tough enough to beat FSU and the Atlantic division will be even more difficult to win.

Petrino is a fantastic hire and a good fit. He did incredible things at Arkansas until his “bad decisions” caught up with him. Hopefully he’s got his stuff straight.

850K at WK, I wonder what Louisville is going to pay him?

Good coach with bad character. They’ll probably have someone “shadow” him to keep him from doing something stupid. I do think he will make Louisville a player in the ACC.

With only a couple of teams to actually compete against that shouldn't be to hard.

If he gets Louisville to where Arkansas was the Atlantic division will be as strong as the SEC East. You are better hope you don’t Louisville in a bowl game because he owns you guys

Louisville is #15. second best in the American Conference. How will getting them to ARK old level help the whole Conference? They can only be 1 spot better in the conference. USC, the non-winner of the SEC East beat the winner of the AC.

But nice try.

??

Maybe you missed the point.

Arkansas was a top 10 team under petrino. Getting Louisville to a top 10 team won’t help the Acc??

American Conference = AC, is the conference Louisville is in

Louisville is in the ACC in 2014

McFadden was not even at Arkansas when Petrino was coach.

Ryan Mallet whipped us too.

Last I heard, it was the Atlantic. Maryland is leaving for the big ten

2014 ACC Divisions

Atlantic Division

Boston College Eagles
Clemson Tigers
Florida St. Seminoles
Louisville Cardinals
N.C. State Wolfpack
Syracuse Orange
Wake Forest Demon Deacons

Coastal Division

Duke Blue Devils
Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets
Miami Hurricanes
North Carolina Tar Heels
Pittsburgh Panthers
Virginia Cavaliers
Virginia Tech Hokies

So the Atlantic will swamp the coastal again.

Bet it wont be long until the ACC does some swapping around or just do away with divisions altogether…
