Don’t know what’s up with the video.
It was bubbles. In Greenville and have not put my toolbox back on the truck.
Run to AutoZone. 7/8 wrench.
I was that AutoZone parking lot mechanic today…
Managed to get 1 side tightened up.
Had to take the other side out. Nothing nice about that. The ■■■■ soapy water didn’t help. Rewrapped it with tape got it back in. No more bubbles.
I bought a tube of permatex thread sealer also. But went with the tape because of working time. I figured even with no air in them driving would be pounding pressure at it.

When I installed them.
I dry fitted it a couple turns by hand. Then I wrapped the fittings. Then install them. The threads on the airbags felt kind of rough. I should have run a tap down them.

Good riddance Greenville.
Hilton head bound.
Starting a job there mid-november.

you got a load behind that old girl! Safe travels Bro.

Truck had finally decent power…
But get up around 60 MPH she handled like crap. Stoped to get gas the tires look a little low. Just had the truck service last week.
Check my tire pressure 38 lb. That’s what it says on the door. On the tire it says Max pressure 80 lb. Aired them up 70 PSI.
At 70 lbs handled much better. Could get out there around 70-75 without a being sloppy.

My pics come up in the wrong order sometimes… but you get the picture ha

I bet you thought there’s gold in that tank and the bracket…

Dog’s make the best supervisor.

I had a dog that would watch me all the time working on my vehicles. She would give me some of the weirdest looks. Putting new bearings in a truck one time. Decided to go in the house and eat before hands got all gummed up. Come back out my tub of Grease was empty. Dog ate it.

These 2 jumped on the trailer and followed me home.

Me and some friends were talking about how many garages/sheds Across the country have hidden treasures in them. I can name several in a 50 mile radius with some motorcycles, a couple of chevelles, 4 barracuda’s (one was in Radio), a few old Galaxies, plus a ton more, some mint others needing some TLC. Just imagine spreading that out across the states and those that have died and the kids don’t realise what they have. Can’t say it’s still there or if he’s still alive, but a Farmer up in N.D. had a climate controlled 60,000 sqft warehouse that he had some cars that had zero miles in storage plus antique tractors even a wwI tank in mint condition

I know where there is a small school bus in reasonable shape in the woods in the Francis Marion NF. And I also know where there is a old studebaker in the Forest with a big pine tree growing thru where the engine used to bei

Fat boy up and running after it puked out all the oil that sumped into the crankcase from sitting for 3 years.
Crackhead engineers vent the crankcase up through the breather.

Looks good. Lighting sure has come a long way!!! I put two extra back up lights in my rear bumper and boy has it helped.

Ive seen those, I bet they do help! Are they led also? I messed around and oredered the license plate bulbs now too :smirk:

have swapped to LED interiors, reverse lights, and license plate lights so far here. especially helpful to brighten up the place when backing up in the dark!
