That’s because the NCAA made it official today and added the “public reprimand” portion. Everything else is self-imposed. Doesn’t mean it’s breaking news or some sort of “Ah ha!” moment.

I know it’s late but I just noticed the title and use of “USC jr.” Can someone explain that one to me? I’m sure, since the thread was started by a Clemson fan, it’s some sort of jab at USC but I don’t get the “jr” part. Who is the “sr” to USC’s “jr”?

As 7 said, wasn’t USC created before California was even a state…by almost 50 years? How is this even a good “jab?” That’s kind of like the “Death Valley” argument. How is it an argument at all? Clemson coined the nickname first. Granted, LSU’s stadium is considerably older but Clemson came up with the nickname first. Clemson fans correct me if I’m wrong but I believe it had something to do with Howard’s rock coming from the actual “death valley” in California, or something like that.
I guess this is yet another example of not letting facts get in the way of trash talk.

Howards rock is actually a stolen indian artifact, when Coach Howard contacted them about it taking up space as a doorstop in his office they didn’t want it back.
