Sign up on there to make sure there are enough oysters for all! Also, I am calling up Sellsfish and buying a bushel of oysters for the roast. If anyone else wants to, feel free to call up and order a bag! Someone will be coordinating a pick up for the party.

first oysters coming out about 11. and its over at like 4 so i wont be fishing that day. so the first unofficial meeting is goona be thier but we need to get a headcount and plan to have the first real meeting. I can talk to reelhunter or colt or someone at the angler and see if they would let us have the meeting thier. i dont know about you guys but west ashley seems like a more centralized place to have the meeting than time out in mt p. but i guess we all could make the drive to mt p, its not as far as columbia! i guess ill see you guys then! im bringin the nametags so put your username and real name on em. thanks guys

I’ll be there for a bit. May be a good idea have a meetup spot and time in another location in park if anyone knows the area to at least get the group started. Would be rather embarrassing walking around asking people… or have someone that KNOWS they will be there and let us know what they are wearing or a recognizeable hat.

by the playground their is a shelter that the kayak tema could meet at. The shelter is only a little ways down the path from wappoo shelter where the roast will be held. i will wear a camo usc hat and everybody wear their nametags so we know who everyone is. and My family doesnt wanna stay the whole time i wll be able to fish if yall are.

is anybody going kayak fishing from the oyster roast today? becuase i would like to, just pm or comment back and if anybodys going ill throw my yak on the truck and have my gear just in case.

so i guess no kayak club meeting… every yakker i talked to was asking me if they had already had it or when it was. so i guess we will have our first meeting soon i mean like this week or next week, just not sunday feb 5! and i guess we could meet at time out sports in mt pleasant or the charleston angler or haddrells in west ashley. but i guess we would have the meeting on like a saturday night or something becuase alot of people from coulumbia will have to come down and they would fish that day too, do yall from columbia stay the night or just drive straight back? im ready and i know all the people i talked to yesterday are ready for it!

Hey Yakman…I’m with you. If it needs to be I will contact the folks at the Angler in West Ashley to see about a meeting and post. I was also a little upset that there was no action as well yesterday. I did have a gut feeling that it was not going to happen. I will contact them today to set something up. Nice meeting you yesterday at the Oyster Roast.
yeah i kinda figured the meeting wouldnt happen, too much good food and good people to leave and meet somewhere, plus the tide and wind werent right for fishing. but i can call the angler to or scott at haddrells im just waiting on some other people especially the ones from columbia to post their available times and dates, us in chucktown can meet pretty much any time though
