How do you go so far backwards in such a short period of time with the same head coach?

Y’all need to come to terms with the fact this team is awful. Seriously, SOS was great in his time but the game has passed him by. There’s no drive there to do the recruiting it takes to build a winner. Bad coaching and lack of talent, it’s going to get worse before it gets better too. That was a rout and UGA isn’t exactly an offensive juggernaut yet, that defense made a second string UVa reject look like Joe Montana.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I’m not sure that is strong enough.
I Would expect most realistic people did not expect USC to win. But the team looked like they didn’t think they could win.

It pains me to say you are spot on with this comment. The secondary plays so (**() soft, the D-line got pushed around all night, receivers can’t seem to get open, the O-line can’t block or open lanes. The “Co-defensive” coordinators ain’t getting it done and Spurrier’s play calling sucks. The lone bright spot? Special teams. I don’t know what has happened that this team has fallen so far so fast.
I did not have any expectations of winning last night but, I did expect a more competitive game. They were *****-slapped most of the night and never really seemed to respond. Going to be a long season. I figure 2 maybe 3 more wins if we’re lucky at this rate.

“I may be going to hell in a bucket. But at least I’m enjoying the ride”
What Swearinger tweeted was dead on… Players have no pride. Coaches don’t know how to coach or recruit. Spurrier has dementia and can’t seem to figure out the offense and Hoke/Ward are not “making adjustments” as they said. This isn’t an SEC team… its really just sad

I just feel bad for spurrier’s visor…
And, I hate to say it but, I told you so before the season started. A&M, LSU and Clemson games should be a lot of fun. Miss St, UT and UF could be competitive but, we saw a whole lot of quit last night and a broken team. Get a new staff, even if you have to fire SOS.

Hard not to look like Joe Montana when the DB’s are playing back 12 yards. Stupidest thing I have ever witnessed. No adjustment , either.
Key West 1720 115 HP Johnson Saltwater.
I have never seen a secondary play so soft and, they have been playing that way for several seasons. Who is coaching these guys? Do DBs not bump receivers at the line anymore? Would that not disrupt pass routes? I agree, give a receiver that much room and as long as the QB has time, you will get some positive yardage out of it. Don’t get me started on tackling. As seldom as these guys use their arms, you could strap them to their sides and they would not miss them. They “launch” themselves at the ball carrier anymore.
Don’t worry, I see in the paper today that Spurrier promises some “changes”. Who knows what that means.
Ok, rant over.

All that makes sense, but when there’s no pass rush, it doesn’t really matter. It’s tough enough for a DB to cover a WR for three seconds; having to chase him around for 5-8 seconds is just unfair to the DB and nearly impossible…
