Shrimp reports?

I’m still simply hoping I’ll be able to go this year. Knee is still shot and not improving… Last night was miserable!!
Back to location…We got tired of fighting the waves at BB (we only have a 16’aluminum side console) So we went down to Beaufort in some back creeks, and Grays Hill with real good luck, without the fight…
I was lucky enough to help a buddy head his shrimp, and show him how to do crabs, and received a few pounds for our efforts! Thanks Robbie!

People complaining about some of us sharing our knowledge about shrimping. It is the day and time. It is all about being GREEDY. It is all about me, me, me, and what’s in it for me. On a larger scale, it speaks to what is wrong with this country, our society and it is getting worse. We are becoming or already have become a society of takers. To finish first at all costs is the goal. To be ahead of you, to achieve more than you, to catch more than you, to do whatever before you, makes me better than you and I feel good about it.

Personally, I get great satisfaction seeing others be successful at whatever they do and if I can help them achieve that success, even better. No jealousy, no envy. Do I want to catch a limit of shrimp? Sure. Do I want to catch a limit and gloat or revel in the fact that you did not even though I could have helped you? Absolutely not.

No one can catch all the shrimp…

You hit the nail on the head Bowhunter. They are the only ones on the water or on the highway. Better not be in front or too slow putting in or out. Its ME ME ME.

BOB

First year we went, wife and I were having a poor day, no surprise, while guys right next to us coolered out twice (they had two boats). They came over to us and offered to help. Got in boat with us and showed us how. Waited a little and let us throw on their poles. Now that’s what I’m talking about!

Reese Bobby said it the best, “If you not first your last!”

“When i was young they tried to flush me down the toilet because they already knew i was the ****!”

“Run run run as fast as you can you cant catch me im the prodrive man!”

You mean Ricky bobby . And even he had a partner shake and bake . If you get off on watching people not be as sucessful as you then get off the water . I don’t care who you are someone showed you or you watched someone to learn . Stop b@*$&ing and go fishing

grab the gaff and another cold beer

Nope ment Reese his dad. He was the one who first said it to Ricky. I cant get off the water i live on a boat. No one showed me how to catch shrimp, fish, or hunt. I learned my self as i did not have the opportunities. dollars, parents when i was a child. Thats why im better than you. I found these things out on my own and did not have people telling me what do do, how to do things, and where to go. And i am hitting the water to catch some fish as we speak

Poleyard, Reese Bobby and Ricky Bobby are fictional characters created out of someone’s fantasy. Pure entertainment, nothing real world. And if you expect me to believe that you just walked into a store one day, saw a bag of fish meal and thought “Hey, I can use this stuff with clay to make bait balls to catch shrimp”, then you are sadly mistaken. You may have found your own fishing, shrimping, hunting, etc. spots, but somewhere along the line, you got information that helped you to utilize these spots. You may not admit it, but you did.

And while you are quoting from a fictional movie, here’s another one from the same movie: Ricky was asking his father about the quote you posted and his father replied “Oh hell, Son, I was high that day. That doesn’t make any sense at all, you can be second, third, fourth… hell you can even be fifth.”
There are other good ones as well, but I am not going to get personal.

What Bonzo said, again.

Like Bowhunter said Pure Entertainment! yal just keep going and going

I usually talk about where I go, because I don’t have a boat and most of the folks on here seem to. Then again, the places I go haven’t really yielded anything to get crazy about. I think the most I’ve ever got, was a 1/4 of a medium sized cooler. I do it mostly for the fun of it and to keep the family tradition going.

Blessed to be a true Jim Isle boy

well said bowhunter and bonzo but i got one up bragging on both of you. i bet that i am fatter than you. hahaah.

hope to get down there before long. got to get my gator tag filled first in moultrie . then off to the bay. full nets to you all.

:smiley::smiley:…Sounds like someone spends a LOT of quality “alone time” on the water…unless, heaven forbid, there was reproduction somewhere down the line. If so, Lord have mercy on the kid…[:0]
