That fact that you can not see the difference speaks volumes.
Making assumptions on which teams are “good” wins vs. “weak” wins is pretty dangerous after only week 2. There will be lots of surprises on how teams finish the year. At this point, you can confidently say there are a handful of teams that are great. After that, it’s tough to judge this early.

Since you can not muster enough wisdom to back up your words, I will back mine up.
I said " Unfortunately for CU this win will not help their resume much. "
You said “fishb8 is completely lost.He doesn’t think a conference win is important.”
In case you missed it above. those 2 comments are not the same.
But just to help you a little bit more, I also said
“Any way you slice it, UL does not boost the CU resume. But a win is a win. and a conference win at that, so yes it is important. But it is on par with beating WF. no big deal if you win, but disastrous if you lose.”
Now please let the adults talk.

quote:Busted  . Professional troll job :stuck_out_tongue: . On a serious note an 0-2 Louisville is somehow a quality team? But the 1-1 Gamecocks are a dumpster fire? I mentioned Auburn sucking because all the SEC haters were talking trash about them. Now the ACC backers defend them? This is beautiful! Hook line and sinker !

Isn’t this thread about weak spots in the Clemson schedule? So would a 6-6 coot team not be relevant? Or by your standards is Cooper “consumed” with Tiger football to such an extent he intends to be critical of our opponents one week at a time?
Your probably right there’s no way cooper is just trying to deflect attention from the dumpsterfire in Columbia.

Fritz like I said a while ago UK, UT, UGA, and CU spank the behind…what say you Jack
I think they can be a decent team just had some really bad bounces. they have plenty of talent. playing away on the road, 5 days of rest, on a Thursday is tough. Will be a challenging game. That said if deshaun plays the whole game I think we win.
why would deshaun not play the whole game?

Injury or they get a 4 TD lead on UL.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

ok. I read what Shevy said like maybe there was a question as to whether he would make it whole game.

Funny, calling Auburn pathetic and they sit at 2-0 with a roster full of 4* & 5* talent, that game last week got their attention. We’ll see this week how they do, LSU was strong as goat piss running the ball but couldn’t throw the ball. Houston always has a pretty good team and is difficult to defend running the tempo spread they do.
And USC covers the spread but gets physically beaten up all over this week. Orth didn’t have time to get nervous or play tight last week, not the case this week heading into a hostile environment for his first start. Add on the fact UGA’s defense is about 10 notches up the pole from anything you’ve seen this week. Who’s after Orth on the depth chart?
I love this statement. Replace Louisville with USC and the rest of the paragraph changes to a dumpster fire

Because I feel sorry for those that do not understand this, I will attempt to explain better.
A teams resume is used to submit to the Playoff committee. If your resume shows you are undefeated but you only beat teams that are 6-6. It will not compare to others that have beat teams with 9 and 10 wins.
regardless of the resume a win is a win and conference wins get you to the conference champ game.
Are they different? Absolutely. Just ask the conference USA champ’s how their resume stacked up against the Big10 champ’s resume. But they both walked away with a conference championship.
Yeah- see that’s not what you said.

For some reason you bunch of idiots think that because I’m a USC fan, I can not discuss anything else. I, unlike many CU fan, do not live and die by my team alone. I love the game of college football. ALL games.
Any way you slice it, UL does not boost the CU resume. But a win is a win. and a conference win at that, so yes it is important. But it is on par with beating WF. no big deal if you win, but disastrous if you lose.
Sure looks like it to me…
So if CU beats UL on the road on 5 days worse than they beat App state and Wofford it still doesn’t help?
Heard Daewoo Swinney on Bobby Hartin’s Fan Talk. He reminded me of Lou Holtz making Vanderbilt sound like the best team in the SEC. Daewoo was saying Louisville has a great shot of winning the ACC and is one of the better teams Clemzzzon will face this year. Said they are one of the top teams in the ACC and it was going to be hard to play there and get a win. Come on Daewoo. Clemzzzon is a top notch ACC school. You should score 40 points and blow an 0-2 ACC team out!

None of that matters if UL is a 6-6 team at the end of the year.
If CU wins by a few points and UL wins out. Then I can see it helping CU’s resume.
No one outside of CU and UL care about the short week. It is a short week for both teams.
It’s the same speech Mark Richt is giving his team about South Carolina.
