1st. once again a discussion is turned to something other than the OP. this is not about USC or UK.
For some reason you bunch of idiots think that because I’m a USC fan, I can not discuss anything else. I, unlike many CU fan, do not live and die by my team alone. I love the game of college football. ALL games.
Any way you slice it, UL does not boost the CU resume. But a win is a win. and a conference win at that, so yes it is important. But it is on par with beating WF. no big deal if you win, but disastrous if you lose.
Sure looks like it to me…
So it's not important for Clemson to win, but it's very important they don't lose?

If he gets hurt. Scares me every time he gets hit.
Why does Clemson do that to their quarterbacks? I understand the need for the threat to be there, but those run plays up the middle make me cringe every time. Sure, run him on a bootleg with the option to run and pick up a few or throw the ball away without taking the big hit. That I’m fine with, but the deliberately sending a play in to get your QB hit I don’t understand. They did it to Taj too…for years. I’ve tried but just don’t get it. Taj certainly had the talent to sit in the pocket and deliver the football quick and accurately and it looks like Watson has that same ability or will at least grow into that same ability probably this year. He’s only going to get better at this point; the sky is the limit for him if he stays healthy. The QB doesn’t need to run like a RB 10 times a game; why put that abuse on him? I’ve never understood that.
If you had a Cam Newton or Tebow or Dak Prescott in the backfield, then yeah I get it a little more. But none of them are finesse QBs. They are bruisers who happen to be able to throw the ball accurately. Sorry, rant over.

I don’t think so; I think Clemson is a far more complete team than Auburn and Auburn controlled that first half against the Cards. I think Clemson ends up winning by three touchdowns tonight if Watson plays the entire game.
I don’t believe Clemson has called a design run for Watson yet this year. Also, he has said he’s looking harder for a receiver before tucking it. I think they have realized he makes the offense, but if they need him to run, he will.
