SPURRIER RETIRING

Well, he surely isn’t sitting around. Heading up to Michigan this weekend to be the center of attention for Gameday. Seems kind of like when your girl dumps you and says “it not you, it’s me”, then is out having fun that night. I don’t think too many fans or coaches really care, but I do feel bad for the players.

I must be missing something. Tommy Bowden was FORCED to resign mid-season. Spurrier resigned on his own time line.

C’mon, don’t get FishB8 started again, we just got him down for a nap!!

NO, no, no Dip****B8 says he quit on his own volition and that’s why they still paid him $3.8 million in severance pay. Don’t kid yourself, Tommy was fired, he just got to write the narrative on how it was presented and collect his severance pay.

Tommy getting fired was bad but, he didn’t quit because he was losing like a spoiled brat and sore loser. Sakkerliner’s losing season should go on Spurrier’s record, maybe put an asterisk on it and call it the “Quitter Year”.

Seems the threads from that era were wiped out in the great crash a while back, can’t seem to get past 2013. I vaguely remember these chicken fans excoriating Clemson for firing Tommy Bowden because it was such and injustice, even though he owned them.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Bowden quit because his players hated him and he was losing.

Down here is where a signature goes but they can confuse and anger some people so I don’t have one.

Spurrier quit because he hated his players and he was losing. Big difference

And of course you have proof of this.

I still don’t understand why yall hate him so much.

And i will ask 1 more time. show me PROOF that that either was fired or either resigned.

Newscast proof right here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfr64zoBTAQ

Nobody hates him, we just think it’s funny that the fans won’t stop humping his leg long enough to realize he ditched them.

There is no proof that Bowden was either resign or fired, that’s how forced resignations actually work.

Actually, I gave dingb8 proof from Bowden himself, but since he can’t comprehend anything other than his own emotions, its a moot point.

Tell you what Doesn’tcomprehendB8, go into your boss’s office and tell him you are resigning and that you want a full year’s pay as a severance package. Tell him that it’s only fair because Tommy Bowden resigned from Clemson and they liked him so much they paid him $3.8 million anyway.

opinion or fact.

I’ll take fact for 1000 Alex.

Opinion’s are like a-holes and salty has more than most.

So are we now arguing that both Spurrier and Bowden are heroes to their programs for leaving?

I think they are. Both were no longer effective leaders and both left mid-season. Both teams are better off

I’ll give IndenialB8 one thing, he’s not a quitter like his coach. So, he has that going for him.

Though, he does take things a might personal. Wound tighter than Dick’s hat band.

No, one team is better off. They’re 5-0 and ranked #5, the other is void of talent and 2-4 with a whole lot more losing to do this season. You can say the chickens are better off but, it’s going to take a long time to build that program back up, look at Tennessee.

So in your world, both fan bases and administrations were equally as eager for them to stay, but they left for the good of the program? Remember they said in the press conference they asked Spurrier to stay throughout the season.
