Even though he had a bad year, Florida’s Muschamp could be in the running. He spent several years as an assistant at Texas. He knows the program and probably recruited a few of the players.

Wasn’t he considered Brown’s successor a few years ago? Then left because he figured Brown wasn’t going anywhere. Texas could get him easily.

Has Saban signed the dotted line yet? Didn’t he tell the Dolphins, LSU Tigers and Mich State Spartans he had no intention of leaving with pending contracts? What happened next? Saban can bolt if he wants to, doubtful this time though, I hear his wife doesn’t like the wardrobe in burnt orange. Strong isn’t going to Texas, no ties there. Shaw isn’t going to Texas, he’ll be in the NFL before long. The UF job is about to open up too, going to be interesting to see how it all shakes out. Texas is going to go get someone that can and will deliver NC games though, that school has more money than the entire SEC and ACC combined.

We know the facts…just don’t give a **** because everybody was cheating heavily in the 70’s & 80s’. It was out of control. Even USC (uh Steroid U).

And to think how better we would have been if UGA didn’t offer a Corvette to Hershel Walker at the last second. :smiley:

And Danny Ford resigned from Clemson …not because of a disagreement with admin…but because they got caught cheating again. He was forced out and by doing that the NCAA dropped the investigation. He then went to Arkansas and got in trouble, again, in 1995. Another forced resignation. NCAA dropped , yet another ,recruiting violations investigation. This has nothing to do with Clemzzzon…I was just trying to prove that Danny Ford is not a winner. He was a cheater and definently did’nt win crap in the SEC.
