Chip Kelly has the benefit of competing in a weak division in the NFL. I don’t think he is doing as well as it appears. They just lost to a crappy Vikings team. If it weren’t for the Show Cause penalty that would follow him back, he would probably take the job. The NCAA 18 month Show Cause penalty would follow Kelly back to the NCAA. Same reason Tressel wouldn’t be offered the job.
With the way players are jumping ship at Florida, WM might be out of a job, but who could they get there? I think it would be another UT situation after getting rid of Fulmer.
Their best bet it to shoot for the moon and go after Harbaugh, Tomlin, and Carrol with as much money as the Texas Alumni can handle. I still couldn’t see any of them coming back for less than $9 mil. Esp. when Harbaugh and Carrol are on Super Bowl runs.
