Georgia Tech ,Clemson and South Carolina are well represented at my career choice. I do not know how the Vice President of engineering is "all of my bosses." All of our supervisors all the way up to CEO have one thing in common. They all have a plaque hanging on their walls from the University of South Carolina Moore School of Business. They are required to take some sort of managerial classes. I hope to get my plaque within the next 2 years. Can you see the difference b/w Clemzzzon and Carolina :wink:. Nah, they’ll have one or two they think they are going to get but won’t leave the programs they have already built like Fisher, Shaw, Strong etc. I believe Strong has already said he didn’t want to be considered. However, some coach out there will be lured by the cash Tejas can spend and they’ll get a big name to save the program.
I imagine that if there was social media and message boards back when Mack Brown was hired, the sentiments would have been about the same or worse than those of Swinney. Brown wasn’t exactly taking UNC to the NC or even contention when he was there. I really don’t see Swinney being a realistic option for that program, they want a Saban type name. People give Clemson fans crap about expectations but a lot of Tejas fans believe they should be in the NC discussion every year or the season is a failure.
