Hey guys I just got this email from "Lee" who supposedly is the original creator of WWFF. (RaginDevildoc)

Ragin…can you post, email or PM me Lee’s email addy? I can send him proof of my donation, which he could see from my page 2 post that I left my email, phone, etc, in plain view. But I would like to email him.

Also…Dadfsr…can you email me with a contact for Indiegogo? All I received was this from them:

Hello Jim,
We want to let you know that the funding campaign, Wounded Warrior Fishing Kids, has completed funding. They raised $2,850 of their $500 goal, thanks to your contribution.
Wounded Warrior Fishing Foundation should be in touch shortly with an update on the campaign and to fulfill any perks you are owed. As always, if you have any questions about your contribution or perks, check out our Contributor Happiness page here.
Cheers,

Jim-just sent you the last communication I got from Indiegogo. Hope that helps!

I can’t post on Sportfisherman because evidently I am banned. Not sure I remember why, but probably for sarcasm. Anyway, I too think that “Lee” seems a bit fishy especially after the comments made from BIGEYE… “Lee” has the same short fuse and grammatical\spelling errors as did Eric. Anyway, read the entire SF thread. The rabbit hole got way deep…

I also find it odd that “Lee” claims to not know who donated what and needing “proof”. Wouldn’t Indiegogo still have all of that data in their system?

Here is my last correspondence with them . Will probably never see anything from them , but that is not the point .

The real loser in all this mess is our wounded warriors who would benefit from future donations from us that i know could be adversely affected by these theives.

Mike

My name is Eric Webber, Founder of The WWFF. … … … like us on Facebook!.. … … …

You know the rest of his spew.

BIGEYE999 made one hell of a post, got Eric/Lee panties all in a bunch. Read for yourselves.

I observed this first hand. As a manufacturer in the fishing industry I was sent a message to donate products to the WWFF by a Mr. Eric Webber, which stated he was the founder of the WWFF. I knew something was up right away as I recognized his profile information as Lee Tsirkas. I would have never caught this information but awhile back I received a strange email with some unbelievable claims. The email stated that our products were responsible for a pretty incredible day of fishing. I asked for some pics and was sent a few…none showing our products. I blew it off but remembered the name on the email. I found Lee’s name on our company page’s fan base. I reviewed his info and pics and dismissed it. Months later…I received the WWFF message on our company page. The first thing I did was review the profile of the sender…Eric Webber. I recognized it right away as the same profile as Lee Tsirkas. I spoke to a friend who participated in the auction for the WWFF. I asked him if he received his goods and was told “no”. I told him to monitor this situation and gave him the run down of the facts. Slowly but surely the accusations and excuses grew and Eric’s profile starting being slowly deleted (wall posts, pics). A few weeks later I return

I’d posted on a couple other hunting sites that I’m a member of about what has been going here with the WWFF. One of the mods on another site just posted with this that he found:

http://www.gofundme.com/Wounded-Warriors

Looks like “he” (whoever he is??) is still at it…

I just wanna hear from Lee…Maybe he can straighten out Erics mishaps…we hope.

God I hope that’s is not him. This thing is fubar.
At this point I could care less about the money I lost. It’s the audacity and contempt that he has displayed in his posts over on sportfishermans.com forum and in the PM’s he’s sending me. Here’s the latest.

Still misrepresenting huh?
yetkun

BIGEYE did not get my panties in a bunch as you quaintly said, I was simply letting him know who he thinks I am is WRONG.

He does not have my correct last name, nor did I ever have access to Eric’s accounts. I tried logging in on CharlestonFishing and it says username/account doesn’t exist. I never even knew what the password was as any account we had anywhere was suppose to have the same password. For someone who wants me to help all you do is run your mouth with unfactuated claims.

When everyone wants to grow and act like adults I am more tan willing to help. All they have to do is contact me, until then the chips can fall were they may sir. Also, i spoke again today with FDLE & Florida State Attorney Generals Office, all that can be done in the end is people can take me to court and sue me, so if thats what they want to do fine. But in the meantime I am here trying to help, if people dont want me to help then that is up to them.

Ohh and please feel free to post this on CharlestonFishing as well sir, it would make y day, and while your at since it seems some of those fella’s are banned from this forum, why haven’t you posted my email address for them to see? Scared aren’t ya? Seems someone is scared to be proved wrong!

wildlifesc,

Unfortuantely he only passed on to me his wounded...@yahoo.com email address. I did pass this info on to my federal campaigns manager in hope that something would come out of this. Still waiting on a reply.

Wanted to let everyone know, I received a full refund from Indiegogo via their customer support email address:

support@indiegogo.com
and refer to the original fundraising page address:
http://www.indiegogo.com/wwffstellagiveaway

I simply asked for a complete and total refund, immediately, and let them know I’d file a chargeback with the card company if it was not handled promptly, as well as a possible civil action for fraud.

If your donation was made via Indiegogo, then this can be fixed by them, and it should be. You’re wasting your time with Eric/Lee/Whoever unless you’re seeking further retribution. All I know is I think he’s picked on the wrong bunch of people. You don’t mess with fishermen, vets, and wounded warriors.

I emailed Lee two days ago, and counting… No response yet…

Phish, bottom line, “Eric” needs to see a judge on this one. I’ve never pressed charges on anyone, but this one was just blatant fraudulent activity and he needs to be taught a lesson.

Also, I find it pretty interesting that “Lee” is so responsive. I’m starting to think that “Lee” is nothing more than a troll who saw an opportunity to make a login and screw around with all of the people who got scammed.

Also, he keeps saying that only civil lawsuits can be had because people “willingly donated the money”. Someone needs to remind him of Bernie Madoff. If they can prove that it was a scam, it’s criminal, period. No matter what pretense the money was given under. It’s called “fraud” and it’s just a form of stealing.

Here is what I received in response from Indiegogo concerning my request for a refund and complaint for not reciving perks from WWFF. I have requested a hard copy of Indiegogo’s terms be mailed to me. If anyone wants a copy? let me know and i will get it to you in the mail .

Hi Michael,
We’ve got an update for you in response to your request (#111237). See below!

David, Aug 10 17:52 (PDT):
Hi Michael,
I just wanted to send out an update: We are in the process of trying to get a hold of our contact at Wounded Warrior. Even though you are unable to see the perks, they are still available to view for us and the campaign owner as well. In the meantime, I also wanted to let you know that our terms of service legally bind campaign owners to fulfill any promised perks. You can use our terms of service in court, should you ever choose to take legal action. Perk fulfillment is the full responsibility of the campaign owner, which is why we have terms in place to protect our contributors. I will email you again early next week with an update.
Cheers,
David

That would be all fine and good except Indiegogo hasn’t given out Lee/Elias’s full name and contact info yet.

Check this out - supposedly some guy in TX with a Wounded Warrior Fishing Fund. I wonder if this is Eric/Lee. Here is a link with a picutre on someone elses name (don’t know if it is him or not since we have nothing facial to go off of).

Hey guys any one know what city Eric/Lee claimed the charity came out of in FL? My federal officer got three hits back on that same name spread out through FL.

This is what you get if you Google search and follow link to wounded warrior fishing foundation

Well you guys ready for this. I got an official answer from my Federal Campaign Officer today. Seems Wounded Warrior Fishing Fund does not exist whatsoever in the state of FL. There has never been a registered fund by that name according to the FL Division of Consumer Services (they regulate all businesses and non-profits in the state) Hope this clears things up.
