I don’t understand why people think Dabo’s rant was so bad.
Did he attack anyone personally or was he rude to a reporter?
Did he tell the reporters he wouldn’t do any press conferences if anybody asked another question about the “rivalry?”
Seems to me he spoke the truth and defended his program against delusional haters and media that don’t know how to act when they beat Clemson 3 years in a row…
The man said Carolina was in Chapel Hill and USC’s in California. Those are facts.
The man said South Carolina’s playing the best football in the program’s history and you gotta hand it to em for that.

That is smack and you know it. so was saying it is not a rivalry it is a domination. and is kids grand kids will never see this become a rivalry. So is saying the flagship university in sc in Clemson.

He said if he had Spurrier’s SC record after his first five years at Clemson, he would be fired. I say that’s a personal and direct attack at Spurrier; and also compares two entirely differnet conferences where one is a cupcake and one is a roid. Everything else was orange overall rhetoric and ancient history. His tirade did not seem to hurt your tiggers, therefore, it was the right call. Spurrier had a little tirade at the media as well this year that seemed crazy at the time. Dabo must not watch baseball and must not like losing . . . three in a row

Please show me an example of another BCS school that is considered respectful and show me similar comments from their coach.
Show me where Les Miles, Urban Meyer, Nick Sabin, Joe Pa, Bobby Bowden, etc have ever said anything like this.

Much like the fat girl in the stands on TV yesterday at the basketball game holding the poster with your coaches “comments”. Or even Dabo coming to the basketball game to rub in it our faces. Hold on to what you can, beat your cupcakes but remember WHO KEEPS BEATING YOU!!!
I promise his comments will be posted on a board during next years football season. Go ahead and sell your tickets to that game too as most of your faithful did before the acccg.

Spurrier took down all the “beat clemson” signs and said it shouldn’t a big deal. Clearly it’s still a big deal for all you coots. When you beat Clemson once, it entitles you to ACC division championships. Beat us twice, and you’ve turned the corner. Beat us three times and you’re ACC champs. Never seen a bunch so worried about another team’s success as you coots. Spurrier’s been trying to deny you all that pleasure by focusing on the SEC and SEC East. Don’t let him. Listen to Dabo!
