UGA vs USC

It sure is quiet around here with the game tomorrow…where are all the obnoxious dawg fans?

Everyone is scared.
I’m not. Go cocks.

We have three star running backs and all DAWGS hate steve sprurrier. If yall dont stop us in the first half and you dont contain those three backs its going to great night. If you stop them and we dont develop a passing games in the first half, it will be close. “If you can stop Gurley,Marshall and chubbs” is a pretty scary thought for any defense. However, It is likely that (**() steve spurrier will not loose to the DAWGS in a blow out, I think it will be close. Too bad its not being played between the hedges. GO YOU SILVER BRITCHES!

Well now wasn’t that a pleasant surprise for us chicken fans.

“Apathy is the Glove into Which Evil Slips It’s Hand”.

Like I said… USC has not played a non passing team. So we don’t know how they will do.
I personally think if UGA throws more, they would win.

And I hate Gary and Vern. Time for them to retire.

Gary n Vern… Lol. Too bad you can’t brownbag their voices. Watch the TV but hear the game from the radio.

You can’t be serious? UGA was shown for what they were – a great running team with a sorry secondary and no passing game.

This was my favorite part of this thread.

To be fair UGA was probably over rated after beating the likes of a Clemson team.
How about ECU beating Va Tech,.

My favorite part was when the fans started throwing stuff on the field. Surprized the refs didn’t reverse the call.

Salty, I may have to call you to get some good crow recipes . Shevy said it best on another thread, the offensive line was the difference. USC was able to move the ball and run it when they had to and while the defense is still not where it needs to be, there is some depth there along the line and at LB to rotate and keep from getting totally gassed. I thought USC pulled from Clemson playing GA last year. They did not set their defense and kept GA’s offensive line off balance on passing downs. Clemson did this last year and was very effective with it.

Those 18 year old college students really got out of hand. After the 42nd bad call of the night it was easy for some people to understand.

a missed field goal was the difference in both games. But Clemson is great and the gamecocks suck. Get with it AP

I don’t understand what you saying… Are you agreeing with while asking if I’m serious…

I came to the sports section to read this thread… 1…2…3… BUMP!!!

Interesting stats.

And did you know Georgia hasn’t topped 20 points in Columbia in 20 years? They also haven’t thrown a TD pass at Williams-Brice in a decade. Amazing stats.

More amazing: They’ve won five times over that stretch with point totals of 20, 18, 17, 14, 13.

This is a good example of why stats don’t mean diddly squat, but they give you something to talk about.

I am with Sirspear on this. While I do think the potential for GA to win big is there, nobody knows how well GA can pass the ball. Carolina is deep at LB and the front is not too shabby either. If USC can take care of the ball and establish the run it could be very close. That kid Allen-Williams is going to be really good once he gets better technique and could really help getting pressure on the quarterback later in the year. You may see a three back rotation out of Carolina if they can keep the game close.

The Sakkerliner LB’s are good, the D-line sucks. Last in TFL, last in QB Pressure, tied for last in sacks, YPCA 5.02, 83rd overall. Gurley and Chubb are going to have a field day.

You know I like stats, but keep in mind that USC has played 2 teams with hurry-up offense that pass first. And if you look at the other teams in the nation, most played against cream-puffs. For instance, Clemsons stats are padded with SC state. FSU’s stats are padded with the Citadel. and those caliber games were the norm in the 1st 2 weeks of CFB.

I told yall, never count the “ole ball coach” out. He has been a thorn in my side for many years. 1st and goal from the 4 and you have the best back in college football… “Automatic for the people” kicker missed not one, but two. One from 27. You are welcome cocks for your gift. IT is a prerequisite for the SEC Champ game to loose to SC, isnt it.
