Wish my setup would smoke that cold, I’d do cheese and lox and who knows what else.
Been thinking about getting an electric since they’ll hold low but I’m mostly just waiting for someone to give me a free one
That’s a little far to travel at the moment for me, but thanks for sharing that delicious looking food. I was hoping that was a restaurant close by.
Man, I’d love some lox, cream cheese, chopped red onion and capers on a piece of toast fried that was browned in bacon grease right now!
I like how you are thinking on the smoked cheese. I did some Pepper Jack on my side box smoker. It was ok but so hard to keep the temp down low enough for cheese.
I’ve cooked on my friends Traeger pellet grill and it will only get down to 170-180 degrees… But set it and walk away. You don’t even have to have anything cooking on it and it smells good. When mine burns out I think I’ll replace it with an electric pellet grill. They have really come down in price. I want to cold smoke some salmon just can’t do it on mine. I always seem to dry it out too much. Guess around here we’d have to wait for winter to cold smoke anything.
Publix deli, boarshead jerk chicken with habenero and freshly sliced Swiss.
Amazeballs. That is all.
Looks good!
I think explained that wrong… Just a small bit of bacon grease on a flat top or pan and browning a piece of bread in it. not soggy, but crispy and cut in squares, kind of like a little cracker.
and 23… I love me some crunchy cheetos with a sandwich!
Grilled pork chop, mac & cheese and cabbage. Grilled the chop for about 2-3 minutes per side and then finished in the oven. Came out very juicy.
I bet fred is liking that porkchop, i know i am.
Is that a little soy on the cabbage?
There isn’t much I like better than a bone in pork chop. Its proper manners in the south to pick up your chop. Just sayin.
Seriously, jerk chicken with habenero turkey deli meat. You heard it here first. Just the right amount of heat.
That is soy on my cabbage. My wife likes pepper vinegar which I use on all my greens but I prefer soy on my cabbage. And yeah Ricky, I did pick it up and gnaw on the bone.
Oops, pics loaded backwards.
" Redneck Chicken Pot Pie"!
The shrimp looks jam up. But I’d wipe that whole cake out in 1 night. Chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. Don’t get any better than that!!!
The wife sent leftover pot roast with me. Turned it into street tacos.
