No schitt

Whats this thing?

Think I’ll have another.

No guesses?

Need a hint?

Paw Paw …………

Do you have them in the low country? I dont ever recall seeing one round edisto

I seen one but the old lady that had it also had a very green thumb. There are some wild plants that look similar but I haven’t tried one. When you said you was eating one, then I figured I’d guess.

I’ve read that they used to be all over the swamps in the settlers days. ? I’ve covered a lot of area around here and never come across one that I know of. I ordered a couple and they died on me.

EF, internet says thy have a banana taste? What day you?

Anyone had any experience with them in the lowcountry?

A banana is the closest thing there is to the taste as far as i know. You would think its some sort of sweet pureed banana in a blind taste.

The texture is different, almost like soft squash with the fiber feel when you chomp down.

They are really a neat treat

From the live well to The chopping block.

Take a knife and stab them in the head to kill them. Pop the top off and wash out all the nasty stuff.

Then they get a nice toasty bath.

I left the Crab pot out Sunday afternoon and picked it up Monday evening. One blue crab in one and a little stone crab with one crawl in the other. I believe the commercial guys checked my pots for me. They were empty and my bait was all chewed up.

Don’t know why that picture didn’t work up above.

Not the best lunch, but not too bad in a jam. And no, that’s not the new China Kershaw. :slightly_smiling_face:

Is that a 2 piece wheel?

I keep Vienna sausages, beanie weenies and SpaghettiOs just in case.

No. I don’t screw with those. Got an old dump truck for the farm a couple years ago with the split rims. Upgraded them. Don’t see those around too often now a days. Just too dangerous.

Me Too! Except for the SpaghetttiO’s I can’t eat that. Dang Vienna’s will keep for ever I believe. I don’t do them often but like them with a ToastChee. I keep a couple cans hidden on the boat too.

I bring a can of pineapple slices also.
